  • Coaching Experience: 10+ years of coaching recreational youth teams in Arkansas , 10 years of coaching competitive youth teams (LRFC and ASC), currently coaching ASC 93 Burn Boys Classic Team. Former College Coach for the Marietta College Mens team in Ohio , 1994-1995. Olympic Development Program (ODP) Coaching Staff with ASSA, 2000-2003. Served as coaching staff intermittently from 1986-present for a variety of summer programs: UALR Summer Soccer Program, Illinois State Summer Soccer Program, International Soccer Academy , ASC Skills Camp and ASC Goalkeeping/Striker Academy.
  • Playing Experience: 30 years of playing soccer (recreational, competitive, high school, collegiate, amateur, semi- and professional). Gatorade Player of the Year, USA Today Gazette Soccer Player of the Year, and Catholic High Athlete of the Year - 1988. Played international soccer in Holland , 1984 and in Germany against professional youth teams, 1987. 4 years Division I scholarship player at Illinois State University , All-Conference senior year. 5 years semi-pro for the Arkansas Diamonds out of Little Rock, 1989-1993 and Pro Player for the Columbus Zogs in Ohio , 1994.

    Tsanko Stoev - USSF National C License, Coach Classic Boys 97 Team Coach

  • Experience: 6 years of coaching recreational and classic teams. 1 year coaching HS club team (Batesville+Southside, 1998-1999). Skills trainer for ASC 2005-2006.
  • Playing experience: 20 years of playing experience at all levels. Born in Bulgaria and grew up playing youth and high school soccer there. Played collegiate soccer at Lyon College and has played 5 years in the amateur Arkansas Central Soccer Association on different teams.

    • 14 years Recreational Coaching, 6 years Classic Coaching, 2 years High School Coaching
    • Current Coach of ASC Dragonflies '97 (since 2005), Presidents Cup Champion, 2011/12
    • Born in UK, and grew up playing at multiple levels in youth club and school soccer (12 years)
    • Played in Adult leagues in the UK, also FL and AR (20 years)

Sam Abaza-

Playing experience: Played overseas for 8 years (Kuwait), played Goal Keeper and Striker.Played for 10 years in the Arkansas Soccer Association - Striker.Winner of several MVP Awards.

Coached youth soccer overseas for 4 years (Kuwait)
Coached Henderson State University's Club Team for 1 year
Coached 2 teams for ASC for 3 years; Fighters, and United; Winners of the 2013 Kohls' Cup Tournament and Runner Ups in the 2013 Lakewood Fall-fest Tournament
