  • Coaching Experience: 10+ years of coaching recreational youth teams in Arkansas , 10 years of coaching competitive youth teams (LRFC and ASC), currently coaching ASC 93 Burn Boys Classic Team. Former College Coach for the Marietta College Mens team in Ohio , 1994-1995. Olympic Development Program (ODP) Coaching Staff with ASSA, 2000-2003. Served as coaching staff intermittently from 1986-present for a variety of summer programs: UALR Summer Soccer Program, Illinois State Summer Soccer Program, International Soccer Academy , ASC Skills Camp and ASC Goalkeeping/Striker Academy.
  • Playing Experience: 30 years of playing soccer (recreational, competitive, high school, collegiate, amateur, semi- and professional). Gatorade Player of the Year, USA Today Gazette Soccer Player of the Year, and Catholic High Athlete of the Year - 1988. Played international soccer in Holland , 1984 and in Germany against professional youth teams, 1987. 4 years Division I scholarship player at Illinois State University , All-Conference senior year. 5 years semi-pro for the Arkansas Diamonds out of Little Rock, 1989-1993 and Pro Player for the Columbus Zogs in Ohio , 1994.

FootyTotz - I am responsible for the delivery of football sessions to parent/toddler groups and nurseries. I initiate a lot of my own work, setting up and delivering new sessions in various different areas requiring initiative and forward planning.

Footy4Kidz - sessions include being responsible for coaching a team once a week throughout their season. I currently coach 3 age groups (U6, U10 and U14). Each season I am responsible to develop the youngest age group in the club (U6) by ensuring they receive the correct groundings of the first stage in their learning process of football and develop their skills to prepare them for their first season in competitive football.

This will be my 5th season with this team. I deliver training sessions during the week and manage their match at the weekend. There are currently 24 players' signed on and I am responsible for each individual's development over the course of the season. A number of players in the squad have progressed through to professional academies over the years I have been coaching the team and this has given me the opportunity to coach the Academy players at Manchester City F.C.

In the evening I worked within the Plymouth Argyle academy, planning and delivering sessions to 'gifted & talented' players with a view to progress them through the club.

Nate Persson - USSF National D License, ASC Coach Classic Boys 97 Team

  • Coaching Experience: 8 years of coaching with 14 different teams of youth soccer players at recreational and competitive levels. His recreational teams have won 2 rec state championships. His classic teams hold records as CASA classic state finalists, 2 years CASA classic state champions, Superclubs regional finalists 04, Superclubs regional champions 04, and 2 blues city blowout (Memphis) champions 05. He currently coaches the ASC Heat 94 and ASC Storm.
  • Playing experience: Played 4 years mens varsity soccer at Markoma Bible Academy in Tahlequah, OK (3 year Tri-State Conference Champs, 1 year NCHS national champs in that time) and was a starter for 3 years and team captain for 2 years. Played 4 years as a starter for the mens varsity soccer team at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago , IL (2 years NCCAA regional champs, 2 years NCCAA national finalists in that time).


Tsanko Stoev - USSF National C License, Coach Classic Boys 97 Team

  • Coaching Experience: 4 years of coaching recreational and classic teams. 1 year coaching HS club team (Batesville+Southside, 1998-1999). Skills trainer for ASC 2005-2006.
  • Playing experience: 20 years of playing experience at all levels. Born in Bulgaria and grew up playing youth and high school soccer there. Played collegiate soccer at Lyon College and has played 5 years in the amateur Arkansas Central Soccer Association on different teams.

  • ASSA Girls Classic Coach of Year 2009/2010
  • 14 years Recreational Coaching, 6 years Classic Coaching, 2 years High School Coaching
  • Current Coach of ASC Dragonflies '97 (since 2005), Presidents Cup Champion, 2011/12
  • Born in UK, and grew up playing at multiple levels in youth club and school soccer (12 years)
  • Played in Adult leagues in the UK, also FL and AR (20 years)

  • Played Semi-Professional Goalkeeper for the Arkansas A's
  • Played college soccer at UALR 91-95.
  • Grew up playing competitive soccer in North Carolina training at UNC - Chapel Hill and Duke University Goalkeeper camps.
  • Coached the 1996 Dragonflies to the President's Cup Finals at the U13 and U14 age groups in 2009 and 2010.
  • Current coach for the 2000 Dragonflies, 2011 President's Cup semi-finalist at U11.
